Independent Artist Month (I.A.M.) is an annual, month-long celebration running July 1–31, dedicated to spotlighting independent artists across music genres.

Founded by Myron Davis, I.A.M. began as a grassroots effort to bring artists together and give them a shared moment to be seen, heard, and supported. What started as a simple social media push has grown into a coordinated movement with hundreds of artists participating each year.

During the month of July, artists release music, share content, collaborate, and promote one another. Supporters are encouraged to stream, share, and invest directly in the artists they discover.

I.A.M. also provides structure through curated playlists, live streams, interviews, and an active online community, helping artists build real connections and grow beyond the noise of traditional platforms.

At its core, I.A.M. exists to help independent artists reach people, keep ownership of their work, and move forward together.
